I am a small breeder of adorable British Shorthair Cats in North Bristol. My Kittens are bred by us using our own male. They are reared in our home as our pets and raised with Children and dogs. Kittens come vet checked, wormed, fully vaccinated and with a kitten pack. This contains a four generation pedigree certificate, GCCF paperwork, vaccination record, worming record, Petplan insurance certificate and care sheets and a supply of their preferred food.

To ensure our kittens go to a safe, secure and loving home, we always ask prospective new owners to come and visit us. This ensures that they can see how our kittens are raised, see mum and dad and so that we can make a judgment if they offer a suitable and practicable home. Pedigree British Shorthair cats are house cats and we feel we have a responsibility to ensure their safety even after they have left us.

New born kittens are housed in a suitable box, as near as possible to the place mum wanted to keep them. When they are big enough, they are moved into our "kitten room" where they have space to explore in a secure environment. At about 8 weeks they have the freedom of the ground floor of our home. Mums have the run of all our house and dad lives in a purpose build cattery in the garden.

The kittens are checked at the vets at six weeks when they receive their worming treatment. They return at nine weeks for the first course of vaccination and again in their twelfth week for the second course vaccinations.

After agreeing a sale, we endeavor to register your kitten with a pedigree name chosen by you. (If registrations haven't already been submitted!) Our website is updated to show your kitten has been reserved by you and with your chosen pet name.

All kittens must be collected in person. We DO NOT ship our kittens anywhere!

Our kittens are sold as pets, i.e: registered as non-active with GCCF, but we may consider registering as active in exceptional cases. We reserve the right to withhold the GCCF Pedigree papers until evidence of neutering has been seen.

We ask for a non-refundable deposit to reserve your kitten, with the balance payable in cash on the day of collection. If you wish to pay by cheque, then we would require it at least one week prior to collection.

Kind Regards

Amanda & Trevor
